In our recent membership survey, telehealth nurses told us they are having difficulty locating the 45 contact hours in telehealth needed to maintain their telehealth certification through the National Certification Corporation.
AAACN offers several options to obtain contact hours specific to telehealth:
- Telehealth sessions from past conferences are available in the Online Library (View available telehealth sessions)
- AAACN frequently publishes telehealth articles in ViewPoint, some with CNE contact hours. Members, you can access past articles on the Web site under "Resources" after logging in to your member account. ViewPoint articles from 2009-present are also available in the Online Library.
- Telehealth Nursing Practice Essentials, 2009, offers 13.8 contact hours* (Available in the AAACN Store)
