The American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN) members are invited to assist the association in meeting its goals by volunteering to serve on a committee, task force, work group, or in other capacities.

Board of Directors
The BOD oversee the business and fiscal management, provide strategic direction, and active leadership for AAACN.
Much of AAACN’s work is accomplished through short-term groups such as task forces, longer-term opportunities are available through AAACN Committees.
Special Interest Groups provide connections for members in a specific practice area of ambulatory care nursing.
Task forces are appointed to perform specific time-limited tasks to support AAACN’s strategic goals.
Teams are appointed for longer-term responsibilities that support AAACN’s strategic goals.

Opportunities are also available to represent AAACN with external groups.
Members can choose to volunteer at a level that works for them. Take volunteerism to the next level by leading a SIG, committee, project or work group, or elected position.
