Research Study Opportunity – Nursing Professional Development in Ambulatory Care: What is it?

Date:
Thursday, January 14, 2021

This project seeks to describe the experience of nursing professional development practitioners (also known as clinical educators or staff development nurses) working in ambulatory care.

Researchers are collecting data on how the ambulatory care setting influences the way you do your work. The goal of this study is solely to gain knowledge and is not an evaluation of performance or clinical and educational expertise.

Review the Waiver of Documentation of Consent, which details the study. If you work in nursing professional development in ambulatory care and are interested in participating, complete an eligibility screening and demographics questionnaire, which will take 10 minutes or less to complete, and will be considered your informed consent to participate in the study.

Selected participants will be invited to complete an hour-long interview via Zoom, and will receive a $25 Amazon gift card for their time. Contact Elizabeth Fritz, ef42b@mail.missouri.edu, with any questions.
