AAACN’s Workplace Safety Task Force has recognized a significant need for enhanced tools and resources tailored to individuals working in outpatient settings, particularly concerning the issue of workplace violence. This Toolkit represents a comprehensive assembly of original, collaborative, and evidence-based materials, with a primary objective of fostering a culture of safety.
Research is critical to the achievement of AAACN’s mission and vision. Goal five of our strategic plan is to build the infrastructure for AAACN to design, develop, and disseminate research.
The committee will be responsible for the development of research culture, oversight of the establishment of the research priorities, research awards and grants, and building research partnerships. The Research Committee is led by AAACN’s Nurse Scientist, Margo Halm, PhD, RN, NEA-BC
American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN) scholarships and awards are funded through the Silent Auction held during the annual conference, and through private donations.
The AAACN supports the advancement of ambulatory care nurses and nursing practice through the provision of excellence, scholarship, and/or research awards to qualified applicants.
