Julie Alban, DNP, MPH, AMB-BC, CCCTM and Ann Marie Matlock, RN, DNP, NE-BC have been elected to serve as Directors on the Board of Directors for a three-year term. The Board of Directors is the governing body of AAACN and sets the organization’s strategic direction, ensures resources, and provides oversight.

Julie is the Care Coordination and Integrated Case Management Field Consultant with Veterans Affairs in Tampa, Florida. Julie has been a member of AAACN since 2010 and is a past Co-Chair of the VA Special Interest Group (VA SIG), a contributor for the Scope and Standards of Practice for Professional Ambulatory Care Nursing, 10th ed, reviewer for the Care Coordination and Transition Management (CCTM) Core Curriculum, and most recently the chair of the CCTM Course Evaluation Assessment Task Force.

Ann Marie is a Chief in the Medical Surgical Specialties Service and a Captain in the United States Public Health Service at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Ann Marie has been a member of AAACN since 2016 and began volunteering as a task force member working to identify and develop Nurse Sensitive Indicators (NSIs), and one of the editors for the 2016 AAACN NSI Industry Report and she is currently editing the second edition AAACN’s NSI Industry Report.

Rachelle White, MSN, RN, CCCTM has been elected to serve on the 2024-2025 Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee identifies qualified AAACN members to run for elected offices and oversees the annual election and awards and scholarships processes.

Rachelle is a Primary Care Transitional Care Manager with the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She has been a member of AAACN since 2015 and has been part of the Care Coordination and Transitional Care Management Toolkit Task Force, a Program Planning Committee member, and a poster and oral presenter at the Annual Conference.
