AAACN created the Workplace Safety Task Force to develop resources to educate members on the topic of ambulatory care workplace safety and violence prevention methods. The first of these resources, the Position Statement on Workplace Violence, Incivility, and Bullying in Ambulatory Care, was recently released.
The Task Force, led by Co-Chairs Dawn Fletcher, DNP, NEA-BC, RN, and Beth Sparks, RN, MSN, CNML, (pictured right) is working on an online toolkit in addition to other valuable resources on this important topic.
