President-Elect

Ann Marie Matlock Ann Marie Matlock, DNP, RN, NE-BC , Chief, Medical Surgical Specialties Service & Captain, United States Public Health Service for the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center, will serve as the next President-Elect of AAACN. She will serve as President-Elect for 2026–2027 and become the AAACN President in Spring 2027. The AAACN Board of Directors (BOD) appoints the President-Elect, ensuring selection of the most qualified member to lead AAACN.

A member of AAACN for 10 years, Ann Marie has served in numerous leadership roles, including Director on the Board of Directors, an elected member of the Nominating Committee, NSI Industry Report Revision Task Force Co-Chair for the first and second editions, a Nursing Economic$ Perspectives Columnist and ViewPoint author, and reviewer and contributor for the CCTM Core Curriculum.

 

 

Board of DirectorsDenise Moultrie

Denise Moultrie, EdD, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, CNOR, CCNS , VP of Clinical Operations Emory Healthcare Population Health Collaborative at Emory Healthcare, has been elected to the AAACN Board of Directors for a three-year term. A member since 2020, Denise has been a member of the Planning Committee for two terms and an active participant in rapid-fire, poster and podium presentations at our annual conferences.

Lisa Duncan

Lisa Duncan, DNP, MBA, RN, AMB-BC, CIC, NEA-BC, VP, Regulatory Clinical Compliance for Family Health Centers of San Diego will be serving a one-year term as she completes Ann Marie Matlock’s last year. Lisa has been a member of AAACN for 11 years and has been an elected member of the Nominating Committee, a member of the Ambulatory Care Nurse Executive Toolkit Task Force, a moderator, and a podium and poster reviewer for our annual conferences.

 

Olivia DurdenOlivia Durden, RN, MSN, MPH, a Nurse Manager at Lynn Community Health Center, will be our next Board Fellow for 2026-2027. Olivia is a new member of AAACN, and has already attended her first annual conference, joined the Mentorship Program as a Mentee, and a part of the Quadrivia Nurse-Driven AI Fellowship

 

 

Nominating Committee Members

Edtrina Moss Edtrina Moss, PhD, RN, NE-BC, AMB-BC, CPHQ, CLSSGB, a Senior Performance Improvement Specialist RN at Harris Health, has been elected to serve a 2-year term on the Nominating Committee, which identifies qualified AAACN members to run for elected offices, oversees the annual election and awards/scholarships process.

A member since 2011, Edtrina co-edited AAACN’s 10th edition of the Scope & Standards of Practice for Professional Ambulatory Care Nursing and is co-editor of the forthcoming 5th Core Curriculum for Ambulatory Care Nursing, an active member of the Research Committee, where she has been a co-presenter for their Grant Writing Webinars, and a recipient of the 2023 Conference Scholarship.
