Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina has been designated as the official hotel for the 2025 American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing Annual Conference (AAACN) 50th Annual Conference.

A block of rooms has been secured at the special rate of $269.00 for single/double per night. This rate is subject to applicable state and local taxes currently, 12.7%.

To receive the conference rate, make online reservations on the AAACN website or call hotel reservations at (619) 291-2900 and refer to the AAACN Annual Conference. The conference rate is available through April 21, 2025, or until the room block is full. Reservations received after this date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.

Check-in is 4:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am

Airport: San Diego International Airport (SAN), Located 0.5 Miles from the hotel.

Complimentary Airport Shuttle to Attendees

The hotel airport shuttle goes back and forth on a continuous loop from 4:45am-12:00am. It takes about 20-25 minutes between loops. When guest arrive to the SAN airport, outside luggage claim there are signs for ride share and for hotel shuttles. Folks should make their way to the hotel shuttle areas and that is where the shuttles will pick up. The shuttles depart from the front drive of the hotel and leave every 15 minutes or so.

Weather

A typical day in San Diego in May has daytime highs at 70 degrees and nighttime lows in the mid 60’s. Temperatures in the conference rooms in the hotel may vary, so please remember to pack a light jacket or sweater. We suggest bringing comfortable walking shoes for your conference activities. A raincoat or jacket is suggested for outdoor activities.

Jacob Pacheco was born with cerebral palsy. From a young age, he knew he was different; struggling to keep up with friends or even stay on his feet. Despite being told that nothing could change, he faced his challenges with determination. Excluded from sports, he adapted and became a coach. When coaching doors closed, he shifted to logistics and administration. Tired of accepting limitations, he found healing in the ocean, where each wave became a test of his willpower. Today, he represents the U.S. on international stages, partnering with major companies to create spaces of belonging. His journey proves the power of effort over results. It saved his life.

General

Where do I print a "certificate of attendance"?
AAACN does not mail certificates of attendance. If you require proof of attendance or simply a record, we recommend printing your certificates; you receive one certificate per evaluated session.

Special Interest Groups (SIGS)

Can I attend a SIG Session if I’m not a member of AAACN?
You do not have to be a member of AAACN to attend a SIG session during the conference, however, you will have to become a AAACN member if you want to join a SIG.

Certification Review Course

Can I add the Certification Review Course after I am already registered?
Log into your registration and you are able to add and edit sessions.

Do I have to attend the whole conference if I’m only interested in the Certification Review Course?
No, you are welcome to attend the Review Course only. Simply register through the conference website for the course only.

Financial Questions

I think I was overcharged when I registered.
Your fee is based on your membership status, the date you register (before or after the Early Bird deadline), and whether you qualify for additional discounts (certification or presenter discount).
You should receive a receipt automatically at your primary email address.

I need an invoice so my employer can pay.

You should have received a receipt automatically at your primary email address (check your spam folder).
If you don’t find it, or need something with additional detail, such as the credit card information used for the transaction, email the National Office with exactly what you need.

I/My facility sent payment a month ago and I haven’t heard anything.
First, please check your spam folder. Sometimes the email is blocked or filtered to spam.
If you don’t find it there, and you think your facility has sent a check and you still have questions, call 800-262-6877, press 1 for the Association Membership Coordinator at the National Office.

Please email the National Office at aaacn@aaacn.org and supply the check number, date, amount, and facility name. [If your employer paid, it is also recommended to follow up with your Accounts Payable department to verify payment was sent.]

Can I make session changes?
Log into your account and add/edit sessions that you’re interested in changing.

 

We’ve designed flexible pricing options to accommodate your schedule and contact hour requirements.

You can easily evaluate sessions online to earn all contact hours included in your registration package. Additionally, you’ll have six weeks following the conference to complete these evaluations at your convenience.

NCPD certificates will be accessible and available for printing at any time through the AAACN Online Library, ensuring seamless access to your professional development records.
