Ambulatory Care Tabs of the ANPD Clinical Matrix
AAACN's Clinical Education Matrix Task Force worked with the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) to develop ambulatory care tabs for the ANPD Clinical Education Matrix, which serves as a guide to education required by regulatory and accrediting bodies.
The ambulatory care tabs are a collaboration between AAACN and ANPD and include accrediting, onboarding, and regulatory requirements for ambulatory clinical education. This education matrix is considered a living document is updated annually.
The newest edition contains updates to The Joint Commission.
The ambulatory care tabs from the Matrix are available to AAACN members to download in spreadsheet format, allowing nursing professional development (NPD) practitioners to filter by column title (i.e., Topic, Standard, etc.) to easily research information, in the following tabs:
- Ambulatory – TJC
- Ambulatory – AAAHC, NPSG, CMS, ACHD
The complete Clinical Education Matrix includes information on Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), DNV Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD), The Joint Commission (TJC), and more.
The ambulatory care tabs are maintained by AAACN’s ANPD Team, which updates the content annually.
