Research is critical to the achievement of AAACN’s mission and vision. This committee is responsible for the development of research culture, oversight of the establishment of the research priorities, research awards and grants, and building research partnerships. Research Committee members have the opportunity to work with AAACN’s Nurse Scientist, Margo Halm, PhD, RN, NEA-BC.
The committee is responsible for the following:
- Maintain strategy and priorities for achieving research goals
- Participate regularly in the Journal of Ambulatory Care Nursing
- Oversee EBP Awards and Grants program
- Review annual conference abstract submissions
